Repeat after me:
“CONFLICT IS GREAT”
Again!
“CONFLICT IS GREAT”
Many leaders try to avoid conflict. That’s a great thing if that conflict is destructive, shouting, blaming, avoiding responsibility… we don’t want that.
But constructive conflict is a whole other ball game. Not only is it advantageous, it’s essential. Essential for breakthroughs, innovations and possibilities.
Because it all starts with a basis of mutual trust and respect. How do you achieve this? Well, one way is to “Call” conflicts as they emerge.
Of course, you can’t do that without identifying what the source of the conflict is in the first place.
In this video, I outline the 7 sources of conflict that the Adizes Institute (highly recommended) have identified in their research, spanning over 50 years.
Enjoy the video.
